Amlight Consortium Activates two new 100 Gbps Points-of-Presence Enhancing Infrastructure for Research and Education

On February 23rd and March 8th, the AmLight network engineering team finished installing two 100G links in Fortaleza, Brazil, and two 100G links in Santiago, Chile, respectively. With these new 100G links, researchers and students in these countries will have access to a new network infrastructure with ten times more bandwidth, enhancing international academic collaboration. Dr. Julio Ibarra participated at the WACREN 2018 Conference in Lomé, Togo which focused on catalyzing quality higher education and research. Dr. Heidi Morgan participated at the PRP CENIC Annual Conference in Monterey, California.
