AmLight Experience with SDN: Challenges, Results and Future
The Internet only reached the current stage of development to tell basically the exchange of best practices among its stakeholders . The Working Group of Engineering and Network Operations ( GTER ) and the Working Group on Network Security ( GTS ) meet in 1994 and 2003, respectively , to promote this type of interaction.
Senior Network Engineers Jeronimo Bezerra and Humberto Galiza, presented “Experiência da AmLight com SDN: Desafios, Resultados e Futuro” at GTER 39 Conference, which took place in May 2015 In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The conference offered a great opportunity to bring AmLight SDN experience to the biggest South American Network Operators Group. It was the first time that a real SDN deployment experience was presented at this Brazilian Conference.
