The SA3CC is a standing committee that was established in conjunction with the AmLight network \u2013 a project sponsored by the NSF International Research Network Connections (IRNC) program. SA3CC is comprised of representatives from the various astronomy projects operating observatories in South America, and network operators of the research and education networks in South America and Africa. This agreement aims to promote the adoption, training, deployment, and advancement of the Earth observation strategy in the region. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to deploy the Earth Observation Strategy, which was presented in November 2022, in Montevideo, Uruguay, and which includes institutions such as the Copernicus Earth Observation Program , the Group on Earth Observation (GEO) , the Earth Observation Framework for the Americas, AmeriGEO , and the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI).
