The tool SDN Looking Glass incorporates some of the tools developed and presented by the AmLight engineering team in past conferences, including the AmLight Sniffer and the AmLight SDNTrace and its inter-domain data plane tests. The conference was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was\u00a0preceded by a series of other pre-conference events, hosted by the Ethiopia Education and Research Network for (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ethernet.edu.et\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EthERNet<\/a>), the NREN of Ethiopia. UbuntuNet-Connect is the Annual Conference of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntunet.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UbuntuNet Alliance<\/a>\u00a0that focuses on research and education networking activities in Africa. Over this period, network engineers from AmLight, Academic Network of S\u00e3o Paulo (<a href=\"http:\/\/ansp.br\/index.php\/us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ANSP<\/a>), State University of S\u00e3o Paulo (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UNESP<\/a>) and the California Institute of Technology (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caltech.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Caltech<\/a>) leveraged the AmLight-ExP network infrastructure to transport large data-sets on 100Gbps links between S\u00e3o Paulo, Miami, and Denver.\u00a0 Currently, AmLight-ExP has a total aggregated capacity of 240Gbps between South America and North America.
