Agency FAPESP – In the first half of 2013, some universities and research institutions in the State of S\u00e3o Paulo will begin to connect to a network which will be tested in experimental applications of new technologies that may define the future of the internet.<\/p>\n
Nationally, ten other Brazilian institutions, including three of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo – S\u00e3o Paulo University (USP), Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos (UFSCar) and the Center for Research and Development in Telecommunications (CPqD) – will also be integrated into another experimental network that will begin to be established in early 2013 with the same goal of S\u00e3o Paulo network.
