The BMA7 (7th Biannual Meeting of ANSP) will not now\u00a0be held in May 2015 as planned. The meeting has been\u00a0postponed until the 2nd half of the year, and should\u00a0take place in October 2015, along with the 8th meeting, at the\u00a0FMUSP (Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 School of Medicine), in\u00a0S\u00e3o Paulo, State of S\u00e3o Paulo.
\nThe meeting has been postponed as a cost-cutting\u00a0measure due to this year\u2019s economic situation. On the one\u00a0hand, with a drop in state revenues forecast for this year,\u00a0it was necessary to trim 10% of ANSP\u2019s budget for 2015\u00a0(in line with all S\u00e3o Paulo State government bodies). On\u00a0the other, as businesses are also suffering from economic\u00a0stagnation, it was not possible to obtain sponsorship for\u00a0two meetings this year.<\/p>\n
The Coordinators of the ANSP project, in order to reassure\u00a0members of its ecosystem and all those who are already\u00a0aware of the excellence of the activities of BMAs, wish to\u00a0make it known that the meeting in the second semester will\u00a0offer all the activities that were planned for the meetings of\u00a0the first and second semesters of the year plus the second\u00a0edition of the SwitchOn Workshop \u2013 S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n
